No soap collection is complete without a lavender soap. This pale purple-coloured soap is evocative of balmy summer evenings and reminds me of sitting outside and breathing in the sultry, lavender-scented August air. As with our other delectable handmade cold process soaps, this luscious lavender soap contains oodles of lovely coconut oil, olive oil and sustainably-sourced palm oil, as well as French lavender oil. In aromatherapy, lavender essential oil is said to calm and balance the mind and body, and I certainly think that enjoying a lovely lavender-scented bath or shower is a fantastic way to relax and rejuvenate.
Our soaps gently cleanse and moisturise your skin and, unlike commercially-produced soaps, contain the moisturising glycerine that is formed as a result of the saponification process. Most commercial soapmakers strip out the glycerine for use in other cosmetics.
